Board of Directors

The Alabama Osteopathic Medical Association is a non-profit professional organization comprised of osteopathic physicians, residents, interns, and medical students who meet the membership requirements of the ALOMA Constitution and Bylaws. Part of a national network of state osteopathic professional organizations, ALOMA acts as a component society of the American Osteopathic Association.

ALOMA strives to elevate and maintain the high quality standards of the osteopathic profession by providing quality educational programs for its members, adhering to the strictest code of ethics for the profession, and supporting osteopathic medical training programs. Membership in ALOMA is an opportunity to continue the progress of your chosen full recognition of osteopathic medicine. ALOMA also works to inform the public of osteopathic medicine’s position in the healthcare world of Alabama, as well as supporting work in improving medical service to rural and other underserved areas in the state.
